Gratin de Saint-Nectaire for 4
Peel 1kg Maris piper potatoes, slice them thinly & parboil them 10 minutes in a large pot of salted water. Rub a gratin dish with garlic. Arrange your tatoes in the dish. Season 25cl of cream with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg & pour over them. Arrange about 150g of sliced Saint-Nectaire on top. Bake for 5 minutes at 240°C (475°F), then for 50 minutes at 200°C (400°F).
